I've only worked with the THAR (now water) method station and I hope they have improved retention time reproducibility...
But SCF gives fast and high resolution analysis.
As you may know, supercritical fluid chromatography is similar to HPLC but using SCF-CO2 as mobile phase. The main difference is that all the column and the detector work at high pressure and the last unit is an automatic back pressure regulator.
Also the mobile phase pump has to have some differences because the pumping of liquid CO2 need refrigeration to avoid cavitation.
Each system has its own detail that can be seen in their own web page.

I've worked on one for half a year now and can confirm they your wish on Tr reproducibility as well as other analytical chromatography instrument requirements were satisfied. Now we have a truly analytical tool for SFC.

SCF in an UPLC system sounds interesting...
I always thought that Water would improve Thar's instruments.
Have you worked with long run of very heterogeneous samples?
The problems I had were with natural extracts rich in polyphenols...
I don't remember very well but the main problems were with Tr higher than 10% with run of 10 minutes...
