PROSCIBA 2013 is a technical conference aimed to promote the exchange of information and experiences among scientists, engineers and other professionals working in the field of supercritical fluid technology, in order to expand and consolidate this subject in Iberoamerica.
As in every successful scientific meeting, PROSCIBA 2013 will bring together many distinguished colleagues to discuss current research topics, especially those that are most relevant to the applications of supercritical fluids to promote economic development in a sustainable way. The program will be conformed by keynote lectures, oral presentations, and poster sessions. All meeting sessions will be conducted in English.
In addition to a scientific and technical experience, PROSCIBA 2013 will be an experience in Latin American history and culture, and thus the city of Cartagena de Indias was selected as host for this meeting. Cartagena is a historical and architectural jewel of the Caribbean sea, that was a major center of early Spanish settlement in the Americas. Cartagena´s port, fortresses and monuments have been declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
In summary, PROSCIBA 2013 will be an exciting event, both from the scientific and cultural points of view, and we invite you to join the Iberoamerican supercritical fluids research community in Cartagena, in April 2013.
